## 14th Annual Spirits in the Night 9/11 Candlelight Vigil to Be Held in Parkville on Wednesday **Parkville, Mo.** - The 14th annual Spirits in the Night 9/11 Candlelight Vigil will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2023, at the Parkville Nature Sanctuary amphitheater, 8701 NW Parkville Road. The vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome from Parkville Mayor Nan Johnston and remarks from other local officials. The candle lighting ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a reading of the names of those who were killed in the 9/11 attacks. The vigil is co-sponsored by the Parkville Arts and Recreation Commission and the Parkville Cultural Arts Commission. The event is free and open to the public. "This vigil is a time for us to come together as a community to remember the victims of 9/11 and to honor the heroes who responded to the attacks," said Mayor Johnston.
